Cupidon Magazine is a self-curated anthology collecting six short stories written between 2023–2024, spanning fantasy, science fiction, and autobio comic work.
Inside are tales of love, guilt, and strange futures: a queer fantasy romance between a thief and a gorgon; an aging farmer on an alien world coming to terms with loss alongside an almost human-like companion robot in Mel’s Descent; a story set in a world of occult mystery and horror, following an expedition into the underground catacombs beneath the city of Aurelune; an autobiographical comedic reflection on why being a superhero would be unbearable in real life; an exploration of guilt tied to childhood memories of mistakes; and a sci-fi western about a runaway gambling robot named Ram who tries to cheat fate at a casino table.
Together, these stories form a fragmented portrait of empathy, consequence, and the small, persistent ways people (and machines) try to survive themselves.
